Aduana Stars have threatened to withdraw from the Ghana Premier League following the closure of their home venue, the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa. The Dormaa based side will now play their remaining two home matches on a neutral ground. The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association closed down the venue following physical assault on referee Solomon Mordey by fans of the club during last Sunday's league match against Liberty Professionals.Aduana's Operations director George Gyawu in an interview with Joy sports noted that, they will not accept the ban and if the verdict is not rescinded, they will pull out from playing in the top-flight."I think is very bad on their part to give us this ban, maybe we will follow Berekum Arsenal and quit the league," Gyawu disclosed to Joy Sports"Nobody assaulted the referee and if they persist with this ban then we will advice ourselves."We should get the referees report and that of the match commissioner's to verify and know what exactly they wrote."If we find out they are cheating us then I think is better we follow Arsenal and also quit the league because there is no point in playing when there is no truth."
