The former Chief Executive of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Robert Ahomka Lindsay, has resigned as the Board Chairman of CAL Bank.
His resignation took effect from January 26th this year.
Mr Lindsay was brought in by the board after the bank went public in 2004. He was in charge in 2008 during the Cal Bank boardroom drama which pitched some shareholders and the bank’s founder on one hand against the Managing Director on the other.
Mr Lindsay tells Joy Business he resigned for personal reasons.
A member of the board, Paarock Ben Percy, has been appointed to act as chair.
