With a little over year to the 2012 general elections, political parties are gearing up for the big task ahead of them.
Nana Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been touring the length and breadth of the country on his listening campaign tour without a running mate.
Pundits have questioned the exclusion of Nana Addo’s 2008 running mate Dr. Mahamadou Bawumia and Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen; his closest contender in the NPP’s last two presidential primaries, from the campaign towards victory 2012.
But Managing Editor for the Daily Dispatch, Ben Ephson has told Adom FM that, he doubts if the two will be invited by Nana Addo to join his campaign.
This is because Alan Kyeremateng is hardly seen playing an active role in the campaign team since his loss to Nana Addo in the 2007 NPP presidential primaries at Legon.
The Daily Dispatch has reported Alan Kyeremateng had taken up a new appointment with the African Trade Policy Center (ATPC) of the United Nations.
