The aura is conspicuous around the upcoming festival which has been touted by many to be the one that lifts the spirit of Ghanaians in a very trying 2020.

This edition of Worlasi’s annual concert seeks to set the stage for music fanatics as the country gradually emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic with a socially distanced spectacle at Alliance Française in Accra on November 7, 2020.

After a succinct delivery during last year’s edition on the back of ‘Worla: The Man and the God’ album with Senku Live, the stakes could only be high for the 2020 VGMA Record of The Year nominee as Worlafest 2020 will be ushered in by another Extended Play (EP).

The yet-to-be-released project dubbed, ‘Dios’ is a collaboration between Raphael Worlasi Langani, as he is known outside showbiz circles, and music producer, Drvmroll who has been a long-time collaborator.

Industry players who have already had a sneak peek of the body of work have tipped it to be a must-listen.

On October 30, the first single off the upcoming EP, ‘Kilode’ was released and has since been greeted with massive commendation.

But the EP itself will be released on November 6, twenty-four hours to the D-Day - to set the right tone for the concert on Saturday, and will possibly be the highlight of the night.

All is, however, set for Worlafest 2020 as the versatile artist has lined up a plethora of captivating acts to thrill patrons with exhilarating performances.

Social media is already awash with expectant fans from far and near biting their fingers for what is expected to be a game-changing night on Saturday from the man who rode in on a horse at last year's concert.

Tickets are going for GHS100 via www.ayatickets.com.

The event grounds will, early in the day, be the centre for an art fair and exhibition for fans to meet seasoned painters, designers and artists up-close and also afford them the opportunity to patronise some merchandise and paraphernalia.

The 2019 edition was graced by M.anifest, Edem, Adomaa, Akan, Efya, Trigmatic, Rhyme Sonny among others.

With the cocktail of activities to satisfy the cravings of an artistic mind, the much-touted 'Waska' coiner may be looking to pull off another one for the ages.
