The UN delegates comprising Hollywood star actress Angelina Jolie, her manager Jeffery Sachs, John McArthur and other high profile personalities have been spotted in town, the GhanaCelebrities.com reports.
They are in town to attend a private event which has been put together by UBI and UNDP in a secret location in town. The event is strictly by invitation. Proceeds from the event is will be use to cater for underprivileged villages in Ghana. But why would anybody want to mark such a commendable event on the quiet ?
It is so intriguing that, even though Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Kenny G command a lot of respect and have huge fan-base in Ghana, their presence in the country is under low publicity. It is unfortunate that the organizers did not take advantage of their stardom to boost up this event.
After the ‘secret’ event the delegation will attend the ‘Kenny G Concert’ on Saturday, 17th July 2010, at the African Regent Hotel. The concert is open to everybody to catch a glimpse of the Legendary Grammy award winner, who has sold 75 million records worldwide.
