The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante Akyem North delivered a full contribution to parliamentary proceedings entirely in Asante Twi.
Speaking in Twi, Ohene Kwame Frimpong called for the need to improve road infrastructure across the country to boost local tourism.
He made these comments during parliamentary proceedings on the floor on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
The Independent legislator also drew the attention of the House to the inefficient streetlights on roads and prostitution in his constituency.
He was later compelled by the Deputy Speaker to translate the statement into the English language.
