The Africa Sustainable Energy Centre (ASEC), in partnership with Kathryn Strachan Consulting, is hosting the AI for Africa Workshop, which examines how artificial intelligence can accelerate sustainable development across the continent.

The AI for Africa Workshop will, among other things, explore cases across Africa where AI is driving change, adopting AI responsibly through policy and governance, the continent’s risk of exclusion in the global AI development and what’s needed for African voices to shape the agenda.
The workshop will also examine the investment landscape, its possibilities and what it will take to build inclusive, scalable AI ecosystems across the continent. Participants also get the opportunity to learn, upskill and prepare for the next generation of African AI leaders.
