As part of the World Energy Week 2025, the Africa Sustainable Energy Centre (ASEC) is set to host a special side event on Thursday, October 9, at 4 pm.
The virtual event will focus on the theme "Wiser and Smarter Power Shifts: From Blind Spots to Bright Spots."
The keynote address will be delivered by Oko Buckle, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Southeast U.S., at Burns & McDonnell.
On the panel are Yaw Lartey, Esq, Partner and Africa Head of Infrastructure & Capital Projects (I&CP) at Deloitte Africa, Dr. Yussif Sulemana, Technical Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Ghana and Keith Katyorra, Senior Manager for Grid Expansion & Energy Systems at the Energy Council of South Africa and Advisor at ASEC.

Also joining the panel are Sabrine Emran, Senior Energy Economist at the Policy Centre for New South and Board Member of FEL, World Energy Council and Mr. Daniel Bungey, Energy Specialist at the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), FEL, World Energy Council.
The session will be moderated by Joshua Narh Director, Board Member at Wingfield Group and Executive Chair of the Ghana Energy Chamber.
