Ashanti Gold has confirmed the signing of under 20 World Cup winner Daniel Addo from King Faisal.
The central defender was widely tipped to move abroad after a fine showing for the Black Satellites triumph at the under 20 World Cup in Egypt last year.
Ashanti Gold expects Daniel Addo’s signing to augment the team for their Confederation Cup campaign.
Ash Gold CEO Cudjoe Fianoo told Joy Sports the club had been chasing the players for two seasons now.
“We saw in him a good defender who could assist us achieve the results that we desire,” he added.
