Avram Grant has made two changes to the Ghana team that faced Comoros in Moroni on Friday.
Skipper Asamoah Gyan and Emmanuel Agyeman Badu replace Majeed Waris and Afriyie Acquah as the Black Stars chase qualification to the third qualifying round of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The backline of Harrison Afful, Baba Rahman, John Boye and Jonathan Mensah will remain the same after guiding Razak Braimah keep a clean sheet in Moroni.
The Udinese midfielder starts ahead of Afriyie Acquah as Grant seeks to add more bite to the team’s attacking machinery. Badu was impressive coming off the bench on Friday and hitting the post as Ghana probed for a goal.
Midfielder Agyeman Badu and Wakaso last played as a midfield pair for the Black Stars in a competitive game in Ghana’s 7-1 victory over Mauritania in Accra.
Gyan also last started a competitive game in Ghana in that match after missing the game against Rwanda in Kigali and starting the Comoros game on the bench.
