Berekum Chelsea midfielder Gladson Awako says they have resolved to die a little in Saturday’s important CAF Champions League against already eliminated Zamalek in Cairo.
Chelsea can enhance their faint hopes of progressing to the semi-final of this year’s competition if they win their first away match.
Chelsea’s Coach Hans Van Der Pluym has left-back Richard Kissi Boateng available for selection after missing their last match due to a card-related suspension. First choice goalkeeper Ernest Sowah has returned to the team after he was excluded from the squad against Al Ahly.
“It is not going to be an easy game because we beat them 3-2 in the first leg and I’m sure they would also want to win at home but we have to try our best and take all the points Chelsea twice came from behind”, said Midfielder Gladson Awako in an interview with JOY Sports
“This game is very important for us, we have to go all out and do our possible best to get the three points in Egypt”.
Chelsea twice came from behind to beat Zamalek 3-2 in the first leg encounter at the Accra Sports stadium last month.
