Young Generation Football Club will face Great Somas Football Club in the final of the third edition of the Baby Jet U-16 African Football Tournament on Tuesday, June 13, at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Young Generation, who are only taking part in the competition for the first time, beat Ken Hammer in the semi-final to advance to the final.
A goal in each half from Eugene Asamoah and Righteous Fordjour was enough for Young Generation who will be seeking triumph at the first time of asking. Fordjour ended the game as the Man of the Match.
In the other semifinal game at the Cape Coast Stadium, Taking Over Football Club were handed a 1-0 defeat by Great Somas with Philip Amoateng scoring in the first minute of the game.
Peter Baah Snr was named the Man of the Match in the encounter with Great Somas making the last two.
They are also hoping to become the first team to win the competition for the second time after winning the first edition in 2018.
Great Somas won the maiden edition at Accra Academy Astro Turf which led to the discovery of Matthew Cudjoe Anim. Hearts of Oak's Rashid Okine was the captain of the team at the time.
Before the final of Tuesday will also be the final of the school's edition with Mfantsipim taking on Edinaman.
