FC Basel, through their own, David Degen, has made provision for football gear from the club to support young Ghanaian athletes.
Degen sent 55 boxes worth of essential football materials including jerseys, socks, training attire, and travel gear, representing the club's ongoing commitment to nurturing talent in Ghana.
Degen's journey to this commitment started on his first visit to the country three years ago where he was inspired by the passion and potential of talents at his disposal. Since that visit, the club has signed three talented Ghanaian players, reinforcing its belief in the wealth of talent that the country offers.

FC Basel enlisted the help of the club's scout in Ghana, Alexander Quaye and FIFA Licensed agent Daniel Boifio Junior (DBJ), who will oversee the distribution of the items. This initiative not only provides young athletes with the necessary equipment to enhance their training but also serves to inspire and motivate them as they pursue their football dreams.
"The passion and talent in Ghana are unparalleled," Degen remarked. "Through our efforts, we aim to uplift the future stars of Ghanaian football with tangible support and opportunities. We believe that with the right resources, these young players can achieve great things."
The donation of these materials is one part of the Swiss club's broader mission to strengthen its connection with football in Ghana. The club is dedicated to promoting its identity while creating pathways for players to showcase their skills on international stages.
Basel's commitment to Ghana serves as a beacon of hope, demonstrating that with dedication and support, anything is possible.
