Latif Blessing, one of the talented midfielders to burst onto the local football scene in recent times, has spoken about his dreams of playing for English giants Arsenal.
Blessing, 17, has over the past few months delighted spectators with brilliant displays in the Ghana Premier League.
In a recent interview, Blessing spoke about his fondness of the north London side and dreams of playing in the iconic red and white shirt.
“Arsenal is a club I really admire. And I would to love to play for the club,” he told Adom Sports.
Blessing has therefore revealed he will work hard to have a good season so that his dream of playing in the English Premiership would soon come to pass.
It is therefore no surprise that Latif has been playing very much like Arsenal star Mesut Ozil, famous for his many goal assists. Latif scored one goal and provided assists to an impressive 10 other goals in 27 appearances for the Dansoman-based side last season as he played an influential role for the Scientific Soccer lads to finish fifth on the table last season.
The Gunners also have the enviable reputation of giving many talented young players such as Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a chance to prove their worth.
Blessing was a hotcake during the transfer window with many clubs both local and foreign chasing his signature but he decided to stay committed to Liberty Professionals.
