The much anticipated Ghana, Nigeria friendly in Watford, London, Tuesday evening has been cancelled.
This follows the escalation of violence in North London which was sparked by the killing of a 29 year old man over the week end.
Riotous youth have been on rampage, looting and engaging London police in violent exchanges.
The riots have led to the cancellation of key international friendly matches including the England, Netherlands game.
Early on in the day, organizers of the Ghana, Nigeria match had confirmed the game was on but Watford Police have called for its cancellation.
It is not yet clear when the matched will be replayed.
