The Black Stars striker has been approached by the Chinese Super Ligue side after his reported deal to France failed to materialise.
Chinese club Jiangsu Suning are closing in on Crvena Zvezda forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom, with further meetings with the player’s representatives planned for next week, according to reports.
The Ghana international was previously linked with a move to Bordeaux during the January transfer window but the deal fell through on transfer deadline day following injury issues.
''I can tell you for sure that Boakye-Yiadom is coming to China," a source close to the talks told Ghanasoccernet.
"An agreement has been reached between Jiangsu Suning and Red Star Belgrade so from next week the deal will be announced,” the source added.
The 24-year-old, who joined the Serbian club initially on loan from Italian Serie B side Latina, made the move permanent in June 2017.
He has been enjoying a successful stay so far, winning the club's best player last season.
He scored 39 goals in 48 matches in all competitions last term as Zvezda finished second in the Serbian top-flight, as well as reaching the knockout stage of the Europa League.
