IBF Africa super welterweight champion, Dodzi ‘Zewuze’ Kemeh (24-2, 22 KOs) makes a first defence of the title against Brazilian, Sergio Dos Santos Carvalho (13-0, 11 KOs) in the headline bout of ‘Thunder In Volta’ fight show at the White Dove in Dzodze, Volta Region of Ghana on April 11.
“I am delighted to get this opportunity to fight again in front of my fans and my people in the Volta Region,” said Kemeh who annexed the title following a round 6 TKO victory over countryman, Frank Dodzi in the same Dzodze last November.
"I want to thank my corner Coach Lokko, Elvis and Rovers for their continuous belief me and sticking with me throughout these years. I appreciate their support and promise to win again for them. I’m also grateful to my management, they provide everything I need to become a world champion,” added the IBF Africa champion.
Also fighting in Dzodze will be new ACE Power Promotions signee, Daniel Aduku (11-2-1, 7 KOs) the reigning Ghana middleweight champion who comes up against veteran, George Amuzu (18-35-1, 14 KOs) in a middleweight contest over 8 rounds.
Young Holy Dorgbetor (2-0, 1 KO) who made his pro debut only last year, returns against Emmanuel Otoo (2-1, 2 KOs) in a super bantamweight contest scheduled for 8 rounds.
