Around 100 brides donned wedding dresses and running shoes in Belgrade for a race to win a free wedding.
The women raced over 150 metres in a bid to gain the grand prize, with the victor Sanja Cigoj completing the sprint in just 19 seconds.
Some of the runners increased their chances by wearing short dresses while others fully embraced the challenge and donned full length gowns.
The two runners up also won the dresses which they wore to compete in the annual event.
Organiser Zorica Jovanovic told Today's THV: "We want to show our enthusiasm for sports through this event."
One competitor joked: "My groom was waiting for me at the finish line, but (since I didn't win), the wedding is off this year."
