The 1991 year group of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) on Monday appealed to the Police to expedite investigations into the murder of Mr Samuel Ennin, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalists Association.
The group who were school mates of the late Ennin also appealed to Police to keep the media and public updated on their findings, to allay the fears of media practitioners and the general public.
A statement issued on Monday by the group condemning the murder of Mr Ennin, asked the public to assist the police in their investigations to bring the perpetrators to book.
It urged journalist to let the death of Mr Ennin make them resolute in their duty to Ghana as journalist and not be cowed by the incident.
