Braimah Kamoko, popularly known as ‘Bukom Banku’ is alleged to have assaulted his wife and brother-in-law.
James Town police confirmed the incident to Joy News adding the case is under investigations.
Theophilus Osei Duodu who lodged a formal complaint of assault at the police station on Tuesday said he was punched several times in the right eye by Bukom banku.
The assault he claimed has caused temporal blindness to the eye.
His only offence was to go to the rescue of his pregnant sister, Manye Otobia, who Bukom Banku had turned into a punching bag on Sunday.
Otobia, is the wife of the famous boxer and has two children with him.
Theophilus Duodu, a boxer, said he was training in the gym when Bukom Banku pounced on him and beat him up.
But for his trainers who intervened-not after he received the deadly blows on his eye, Bukom Banku would have pierced him with a screw driver he was wielding, Duodu alleged.
This is not the first time Banku has subjected his wife to severe beating. He is already under investigations for domestic molestation.
