Former Hearts General Manager, Fred Crenstil has backed the club to beat AS Police in their second leg CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round game tomorrow (Saturday) in Benin.
Hearts left Accra for Benin on Thursday afternoon by road with a 30 man contingent made of 20 players, 6 technical men and 4 officials.
The Phobians must avoid defeat to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
Fred Crenstil, now GFA vice President admits something is wrong with the club but believes the Phobians will bounce back and qualify.
“I wish Accra Hearts of Oak well, I am a Phobian and I will continue to be one when they lose their matches I cry within me.
“I think certain things should be done right and the team can go places, this is not the first time they find themselves in this situation but Hearts is a never say die team and i know they will come out of it.
“Hearts has been there before and I know they will show people that we are still the glorious Hearts.” He told Joy sports
Hearts won the first leg 1-0 a fortnight ago and Coach Herbert Addo's men will have to battle AS Police as qualification will be key for their fans
