Election observers from the Carter Centre have returned to observe election preparations and voting for Sunday’s Presidential Election Runoff.
The observers were in Ghana from late September 2008 to monitor the campaign season as well as the December 7 General Election.
A statement issued to GNA said the observers would be briefed for two days and then deployed to all the 10 regions.
The 58-member election observation delegation is being co-led by the Aminu Bello Masari, Former Speaker of the House of Representative in Nigeria and Dr John Stremlau, Vice President for Peace Programme at the Carter Centre.
The delegation would hold a media opportunity at a polling station in Accra on the Election Day and a press conference on December 30 to release their primary findings.
