In the spirit of care and support for the less privileged, the Chairperson of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) chapter in the United States of America, Maame Aba Dadzie, has donated essential items to some persons with disability.
The donation, done on Maame Aba Dadzie’s behalf by the National Women’s Wing of the NDC, took place in Accra, specifically in the Okaikwei North Constituency party office in the Greater Accra Region.
Those who led the presentation of the items include the former National Deputy NDC Women’s Organizer, Mrs Maame Efua, and the party’s National Coordinator for Women with Disabilities, Mad Charity Akpesah and the Constituency Coordinator for NDC Disability Desk in Okaikwei North.

Others include Joana Cudjoe, Joyce Gyamfi, and a member of the Western Regional NDC Women’s Wing.
The items donated included clothing, bed protector pads, diapers, wipes, adult depends and training underwear among others.
The beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude for the timely donation.

In May this year, Maame Aba Dadzie also donated learning materials worth over GHS20, 000 in support of the Ohiamadwen D/A Primary School in the Shama District of the Western Region.
The donation, which forms part of the celebration of her birthday, was to alleviate the plight of the school as it is faced with serious infrastructure challenges.
