Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has called on Ghanaians to embrace walking as a simple yet powerful tool for healthy living, unity, and national progress.
He emphasised that walking is not just an activity, rather a way of life that strengths both the body and spirit.
Mr. Debrah made the call at this year’s “Walk with the Stars” event in Accra, an initiative aimed at promoting healthy living among individuals.
The event brought together hundreds of participants, uniting communities under the banner of health, wellness, and national pride.
He urged citizens, particularly the youth, to embrace walking as a lifestyle that helps prevent illness and promotes overall well-being whiles encouraging them to make it a part of their daily routine.
“Even if it is just around your home or taking a short walk with your family in the evening, it will make a difference. Every time there is a walk, be part of it.
When there is no organised walk, create one in your community, your school, your workplace, or your neighbourhood,” he said.
He concluded with a stirring call to action: “Let us walk, not only for fitness, but for discipline, for unity, and for the future of Ghana.
The Chief of Staff has been a passionate advocate for healthy living, recently launching the transformative “Walk with Julius” initiative to further promote active lifestyles.
