CIPA Holdings Group has been named Renewable Energy Solutions and Sustainable Infrastructure Company of the Year at the 3rd Ghana Business Integrity Awards 2026, in recognition of its contribution to climate-resilient infrastructure and sustainable energy development in Ghana.

The award, presented on July 24, 2026, under the theme, “Sustaining Trust: Integrity as the Currency for Business Growth,” celebrates businesses demonstrating ethical leadership, responsible corporate governance, transparency and sustainable practices.

The event was organised by Strategic Brand Focus Africa (SBF Africa) in partnership with Premier Business Magazine.

CIPA Holdings Group said the recognition reflects its growing role as an integrated infrastructure platform that combines project development, innovative financing and technical execution to support Ghana’s transition towards cleaner and more resilient energy systems. Through its energy development company, CIPA Energy Resources, the Group develops and manages renewable energy infrastructure, including solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems.

The company operates a Solar as a Service model under which it designs, finances, installs, owns, operates and maintains solar systems for commercial, industrial and mining clients.

The model allows clients to access renewable energy without significant upfront capital expenditure while reducing operating costs, improving energy security and lowering carbon emissions.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CIPA Holdings Group, Kwaku Osei Sarpong, said the award underscores the importance the company places on integrity, governance and responsible execution.

“This recognition reflects the values that continue to shape our organisation. We believe sustainable infrastructure begins with trust, strong governance and disciplined execution,” he said.

Mr Sarpong said the Group would continue to expand its operations in Ghana and across Africa while developing infrastructure that delivers long-term value for clients, partners, investors and communities.

CIPA Holdings Group said its future plans include expanding its activities in renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, industrial decarbonisation, electromobility and climate finance, while strengthening partnerships with governments, development finance institutions, financial institutions and private investors to accelerate Africa’s clean energy transition.
