A late stoppage time magic by Aguero ensured Manchester City beat QPR to win the English Premier League for the first time in 44 years.
Two incredible goals in five minutes of stoppage time turned the fortunes of the City side, winning 3-2 and sending the City stadium to raptures.
Even with a man up, City were down 2-1 at regulation time and all indications pointed to rivals Manchester United lifting the premiership trophy following a crucial Wayne Rooney lone goal against Sunderland. Both matches were being played simultaneously.
City needed a miracle. Manchini and the City fans were distraught with the painful story of coming so close yet so far away from the league title looking all too palpable.
QPR, who were themselves battling relegation were plucky and defended their 2-1 lead as though their lives depended on it.
The game was fluid and not without incidents. QPR's Joey Barton was red carded for an elbow on Tevez early in the second half but that did not stop them from taking the lead after Jibril Cisse had drawn level.
City attacked from all corners but QPR were resilient in defence. They sat back, all of them, guarding their goal with every fibre of their being.
On came Baloteli for Tevez in a desperate attempt to unlock the QPR goal. Twice the Italian came close to scoring but the QPR goal keeper was superb.
Time was running out, hearts were getting wrenched and the faces of the City fans were all gloomy.
Edwin Dzeko late in stoppage gave City a lifeline with an equalizer but that did not appear to be enough.
United had won against Sunderland and City needed nothing but victory.
With 30 seconds to go, City came through with an incredible goal by Sergio Aguero to crown a hugely dramatic game and a league trophy they have long been relishing.
Though defeated, QPR still remains in the premiership because fellow relegation contenders Bolton failed to beat Stoke City.
