Malam Shamuna Ustaz Jibril has sounded a Boko Haram alert asking both the authorities and the rest of the citizenry to heighten their security consciousness.
He said “the terrorists have the wider sub-region in their sights and Ghana is not an exception.”
Malam Shamuna Ustaz Jibril has appeared on a number of media programmes and is credited with several prophesies, which have come to pass.
In this latest prophesy, he said the terrorists, who he insists are not Muslims but cultists, intend to make a huge statement in the sub-region.
He pointed at a number of installations, including a Nigerian-owned factory which the terrorists have on their list.
“Our security consciousness must be heightened.”
Continuing he said, “By my security calculation, some of them have been to Ghana eluding identification and could have a fair knowledge about the terrain.”
He added that “my candid advice to the government is that they should take this piece of information seriously and for instance beef up security at key installations. Spiritualists must organize prayers and fasting to avert eventualities.”
Malam Shamuna recently prophesized that the Plateau State capital, Jos would witness heightened terrorist activities by Boko Haram, prophesy which has already come to pass.
“When Hits FM, an Accra-based radio station interviewed me I asked them to give a few days to do a spiritual calculation following which I said Yobe State was going to be the next target and it did come to pass,” he said.
For now, the other targets, the US Embassy in Abuja, the Bauchi Central Police Station, Maiduguri Roman Catholic Church and others will escape the wrath of the terrorists as a result of the prevailing state of emergency, he said.
He gave a piece of good news when he said that “some leaders of the Boko Haram will be captured in Chad and one of the kidnapped girls will escape within twenty one days.”
In neighbouring Burkina Faso, there would be turmoil as in Algeria, with a major fire outbreak occurring in Dubai, he said.
Malam Shamuna is in his 30s and hails from Bawku but now domiciles in Accra.
Malam Shamuna, the son of a renowned spiritualist in Bawku, did not study the Holy Quran but has a mental memory of the scripture.
His prophesy about the Boko Haram’s West African project was delivered a few days before President John Mahama called on the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to watch out for the terrorists.
