Head coach of Black Starlets Paa Kwesi Fabin says he is optimistic of his team’s chances of booking a place to the CAN 2013 Championship in Morocco.
Ghana under 17 team left Accra for South Africa on Tuesday night for the first leg of the final round of qualifier against South Africa.
The game against the South Africa’s Amajimbos will be Ghana’s first appearance in the qualifiers after advancing to the next stage without kicking a ball following Gambia’s withdrawal.
“We are well prepared for the game and I believe we have done enough to counter their unique style of play”, said Coach Fabin in an interview with JOY Sports
“I believe this team we have is as equally strong as the one that was disbanded because of the MRI and definitely the boys will live up to expectation”.
Ghana will play South Africa on Saturday, November 17, at the Dobsonville Stadium.
