The attention of Management of Accra Hearts of Oak SC Limited has been drawn to speculations in the media that the Club has terminated the appointment Coach Mohammed Polo after the technical handler lost 1-2 to Gold Stars in the MTN FA Cup
We the management of the club, have also heard a few radio stations allege that Coach Polo stormed out of a meeting that had been called to discuss his performance. We wish to emphasize that no meeting has been convened by the Hearts Board to discuss Coach Polo's performance. Neither has the Club taken any decision to terminate his appointment.
Coach Polo, his technical staff, Players, Management and some Board Members were in genial company at a dinner on Wedneday night where he gracefully gave his team a two-week break.
The players are expected to return to training after the holidays to prepare for the second round of the 2013/14 Ghana Premier League.
Mohammed Polo has a mandate to handle Hearts of Oak and the Management and Board of the club are committed to giving him all the necessary support to succeed.
We wish to assure our numerous supporters that Hearts of Oak will bounce back powerfully in the second round. Hearts lie third on the league table with 27points.
