As Roma have announced the signing of Ashley Cole on a free transfer.
The 33-year old left Chelsea on a free transfer earlier this summer and had been strongly linked with a move to the 2013-14 Serie A runners-up.
Ashley Cole flew into Rome this morning for discussions with Roma before the club announced on their official Twitter account this morning that they had completed the signing of the 107-time England international.
Roma used four different players at left-back last season.
