Members of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly have overwhelmingly endorsed Alfred Vanderpuije as the Mayor of Accra.In a vote concluded Sunday evening, the re-nominated Chief Executive polled 107 out of 112 votes cast, despite recent calls by some of the assembly members for his removal.The obviously elated mayor said his victory “is a victory for Accra”.
