DennisLaw has won the MIA Technology Innovation of the year (Education) at the 2019 Mobex Africa Innovation Awards held in Accra.
The event saw many ICT establishments compete for honors in various categories such as Mobile App of the Year, Enterprise Solution of the Year, and Technology Innovation of the Year, 4G Service Provider of the Year, Payment Solution of the Year, and Media Tech Program of the Year etc.
The Mobex Africa Innovation Awards (MIA) is an industry-specific awards scheme established to honor excellence, innovation and creativity of enterprises and individuals helping transform lives and livelihood using technology and solving socio-economic problems with the deployment of ICT skills and knowledge.
MIA was created to help drive the creative, technical, and professional progress of providing solutions to social challenges, enhancing businesses and evolving forms of social interactions.
Commenting on the Award, Nana Agyemang Abu Bonsra, the Leader of the DennisLaw team, said this award would inspire the company to achieve more success in the coming years.
He thanked the event organisers for recognising innovations and dedicated the award to his team who made it possible for DennisLaw to reach this height, saying “ I have a strong team who make sure we get things done in our firm.”
He urged young entrepreneurs to motivate themselves and move out of their comfort zones to chase their dreams in order to touch the lives of other people.
DennisLaw is a Ghanaian-owned online legal search engine, housing all decisions of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and the High Court.
It also has decisions of CHRAJ, National Labour Commission, National Media Commission, Electronic Communication Tribunal amongst others. They intend to update same with all Laws of Ghana including Acts, CIS, LIs, EIs as well as bye-laws.
