A newly married Welsh doctor has been killed and her husband critically injured after a shooting during their Caribbean honeymoon.
The Foreign Office confirmed that Catherine Mullany nee Bowen from the Pontardawe area died from her wounds after an incident on Antigua on Sunday.
Her husband Benjamin Mullany is said to be fighting for his life in hospital.
The Foreign Office said Antiguan police have begun an investigation and consular assistance is being provided.
