Prince Edwards, Duke of Kent and representative of Queen Elizabeth II of England at Ghana's 50th Independence anniversary celebrations on Tuesday, March 6, arrived in Accra on Sunday night.
Other dignitaries who had arrived were, President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe and Sir Anerood Jugnauth, President of Mauritius.
Ghana gained independence from Britain on March 6, 1957.
