The Electoral Commission has devised means to rid the voter’s register of double prospective voters.
Doubts have been cast over the credibility of the December polls with allegations of double registration in the limited voters registration exercise.
According to pollster and Editor of the Daily Dispatch newspaper, Ben Ephson, the EC has a new software which would identify all double photographs that may exist in the register.
"The soft ware would identify you irrespective of the type of attire you wore before taking the photograph."
“Do not dare to appear at polling stations to even vote twice,” he warned.
On Ephson’s Election File aired on Joy Fm on Thursdays, Mr. Ephson noted the EC has compiled a list of double voters and is ready to prosecute them in the court of law.
Already the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for Kwabre West Constituency, Pious Opoku Boateng has been caught in the web, having been handed a 12 months conviction by a Kumasi Court for double registration.
