Some Pension Fund Managers say their search for business has so far been challenging due to the low level of appreciation of Pensions Reform issues by prospective clients.
Pension Fund Service Providers commenced their search for clients in the middle of last month after their approval by the Pensions Regulatory Authority.
The Head of EDC Investments, Sarah Brainoo Arhin spoke to JOY BUSINESS at the company’s i-Forum 2012 which sought to education stakeholders on the new pension’s reforms.
“You know there about thirty fund managers so you need to try and get some piece of the cake. It’s not been easy. First of all, the education is not really out there so when you go pitching for Business you also need to do the education bit of it before you even go ahead to sell the product".
"But we are making progress and am sure there better days ahead of us” she concluded.
