The Eggstra-O Food Invasion, a two-day food festival organized by ‘The Little Cow Consulting Ltd’ in collaboration with ShaQ Express as part of the Eggstra-O campaign for the American Soybean Association/ World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (ASA/ WISHH) brought egg producers and consumers together in Accra.
The main purpose of the event was to increase awareness and educate people on the health benefits of eggs.

The maiden event took place on the 4th and 5th of November 2022 at Mmofra Place in Dzorwulu with many fun activities for guests and vendors alike.
Over 500 food, art, and music lovers came together to celebrate their love for eggs.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with the Ghana National Egg Campaign Secretariat (GNECS) to educate vendors on the nutritive benefits of eggs and some best practices for storing and cooking eggs.
Guests were thrilled to a karaoke session moderated by the Karaoke Kings and many fun egg-themed games like an egg hunt.

In an almost successful shot to break some world records, guests attempted to break the current world records for ‘fastest egg and spoon 100-meter race’, ‘most eggs eaten in one minute’, most eggs stacked on top of one another’.
The theme was centered on exploring both local and global delicacies made with eggs; some of which participants were offered for free during the event.
