Former Black Starlets striker Sadick Adams saved the life of BA United player Ebenezer Badu during the side's training session on Monday.
During the session, Ebenezer Badu dropped to the ground motionless after colliding heads with one of his teammates and was helpless for some time as there were no medics around to attend to him.
The player lied on the pitch unconscious for some time until Adams who is now with Berekum Chelsea popped up to resuscitate the player.
“First I thought it was a normal thing and wasn’t that serious but after almost five minutes the player was not moving, the guys around were looking for a solution but there was none since they could not reach a doctor,” Adams told Joy Sports in an exclusive interview
“The people around were also scared to get onto the pitch so I quickly rushed there to try something on him to save his life.
“He was already gone, he couldn’t move or talk so I blew air through his mouth for close to five minutes then I realized he was moving his hands and started breathing again.
He added that “I once witnessed a similar situation when I was playing abroad and the same procedure the team doctor used to resuscitate the player was the same thing I applied on this boy.
“Glory be to God for using me to save this boy.”
