A fugitive who appeared on the Netflix series Tiger King has been arrested after sharing photos of exotic animals from his sanctuary to someone who later reported him.
Timothy Stark from Indiana was arrested by Granville Police in New York, according to the Post-Star newspaper.
The 55-year-old lost his licence in June after officials said he left animals without adequate care, food or water, the US channel WHAS-TV reports.
Officials say Stark moved two dozen animals from his sanctuary before authorities could take them.
He is also accused of threatening and grabbing an official during a property inspection.
The person who Stark shared the photos with conducted some internet research and discovered there were warrants out for his arrest, Sergeant Ryan Pedone from Granville Police said.
Stark awaits extradition proceedings at Washington County jail in New York before he faces battery and contempt charges in Indiana.
