It was a winning start for King Faisal and Sekondi Hasaacas in Zone II of the Division One League play-offs on Thursday as the competition kicked off.Both former premiership sides won their first day matches against Gold Stars and Tarkwa United to keep their ambition of earning promotion on course.King Faisal, who were relegated from the elite division last season beat Gold Stars 1-0 at the El-Wak Stadium. Faisal meets Tarkwa United on Sunday in their second group match.Hasaacas, who are desirous to return to the top-flight after two seasons in the second-tier division started off on a winning note at the Tema Stadium where they handed Tarkwa United a 1-0 defeat.The winners after three rounds of matches over an eight-day period from every group make it to the topflight league.Zone IIMatch Day I – August 23, 2012Gold Stars 0-1 King Faisal - El-Wak Stadium
