Sports journalist Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo, in partnership with the Tariq Lamptey Foundation, has donated jerseys, socks, and training gear to the Tarsor Islamic Salvation Basic School in the Sissala East Municipality of the Upper West Region.
The items were presented on Wednesday, December 18, 2025, by members of Fentuo’s family on his behalf.
The donation forms part of Fentuo’s ongoing community outreach efforts. Similar initiatives were extended earlier this year to his alma mater, Kanton Senior High School, and the Vamboi community.
Fentuo expressed gratitude to the Tariq Lamptey Foundation for its support, describing the collaboration as key to extending the initiative’s reach.
“I am grateful to the Tariq Lamptey Foundation for coming on board and making this possible,” he said. “Partnerships like this help us touch more communities and give young people the encouragement they need.”
Pupils at the school received the items with enthusiasm and immediately put them to use during training sessions, expressing appreciation for the gesture and support.
