Influential Board Member of Accra Great Olympics Fred Pappoe has described their qualification to next season’s top flight as a big relief for the club.
Olympics who has been out of the league for 6 years earned promotion back to the Premier League on Friday after beating Tema Youth 2-1 in the final play-off match at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.
Fred Pappoe, former Ghana Football Association vice president says making a return to the top flight comes as a huge relief for them.
“Is a big relief for all of us especially the Olympics family of fans, leaders and officials, the playing body and the technical team for making a return to the league,” he told Joy sports
“Making it back to the premier league is one step of the journey we going to sit back and do a lot of hard thinking hopefully before the season commences but we are relief and gives thanks to God.
“I would say is a lot of hard work and commitment for the past six years we have been working so hard and the unity in the team is what has carried us this far.”
