More oil marketing companies are increasing prices of petroleum products at the pumps.
This is despite an earlier industry data which suggested that prices may go down marginally from this week.
TotalEnergies is the latest to review its prices of the pumps.
A litre of petrol is going for GH₵15.30 while diesel is pegged at GH₵15.80 per litre.
Shell took the lead on Monday, December 4, 2024, selling a litre of petrol at GH₵14.99 representing 15 pesewas jump from the old price.
Diesel on the other hand is going for GH₵15.72 from its old price of GH₵15.66.
Some stakeholders in the industry are worried by the development especially when earlier projections in industry data showed that prices would go down marginally from December 1, 2024.
According to industry observers, the cedi has enjoyed some stability while global crude prices continue to decline.
