The President/Country Director of Future Leaders Model United Nations, Ghana, Prince Anuwar-Sadat Amadu, led a high-level delegation on a courtesy call to H.E. Ángel Lossada, the Spanish Ambassador to Ghana and Togo.
The visit, which took place at the Spanish Embassy in Accra, was part of a broader effort to foster international partnerships for sustainable development, climate action, and youth empowerment.
Joining the delegation was Queen Nihad Titiaka Oases Ibrahim, Winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2024 and Founder of the EcoGreen Oases Legacy.
She also serves as the Director of Climate Action & Sustainability for Future Leaders MUN-Ghana. Also present was Mrs. Anthoinet Ohene-Amoah, the organization’s Talent Development Manager.

The engagement provided an opportunity for the team to express their appreciation to the Spanish Embassy for its commitment to bilateral cooperation, sustainability, and support for grassroots development.
Queen Titiaka introduced the EcoGreen Oases Legacy and its flagship project titled Empowering Communities for Climate Action, an initiative that focuses on transforming waste into wealth, promoting clean cooking, afforestation, and sustainable livelihoods across vulnerable communities in Ghana.
Speaking after the meeting, Mr. Anuwar-Sadat emphasized the strategic alignment between the missions of Future Leaders MUN-Ghana and the Spanish Embassy. “Our discussions focused on building synergies in key areas such as climate financing, exchange programs, youth empowerment, and sustainable entrepreneurship,” he noted. “We are excited about the potential for collaboration that supports grassroots innovation and climate resilience.”

Queen Titiaka, the former Face of UPSA and UPSA SRC Women’s Commissioner, who continues to use her national platform as Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2024 to champion climate advocacy, described the visit as both inspiring and promising. “We are building bridges that will drive real change,” she stated. “The future we envision is green, inclusive, and youth-driven; and partnerships like these make that vision possible.”

The delegation extended a formal invitation to the Spanish Embassy to participate in the official launch of the project, scheduled for 7th May 2025, and committed to submitting a comprehensive support plan outlining key areas for collaboration.
As Ghana and Spain continue to deepen diplomatic and development ties, this engagement marks a significant step in fostering global-local partnerships that prioritize youth-led climate solutions and community transformation.
