The palace of the Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Tawiah III, was on early Monday morning attacked.
Distress calls into the studios of Joy FM indicated that several property had been destroyed in the process.
The incident also follows an attack on Friday in which some 22 people were arrested.
Spokesperson for the Ga Mantse, Nii Boi Abbey, told Joy News the assailants in the latest incident brandished machetes as well as AK47 assault rifles with which they tortured some of the occupants of the palace.
The Ga chief was absent at the time of the attack, Nii Abbey said, adding, the chief uses the palace only for meetings.
The case has since been reported to the Kaneshie Police whilst the wounded have been given medical forms to go to hospital.
Meanwhile, police have arrested three of the attackers while a manhunt for the rest is underway.
Although there is suspicion the assailants are people aligned with a faction opposed to Nii Tawiah III in the chieftaincy dispute roiling the Ga state, police say they have yet to confirm any such information.
