The Ghana Education Service (GES) has initiated a validation process for staff affected by the recent revocation of appointments and recruitments.
This follows an earlier directive issued on February 17, 2025, aimed at streamlining the GES payroll database.
This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday, March 5.
According to a new directive from GES Management, affected staff members must undergo a verification process to have their appointments reinstated.
A three-member committee, consisting of the Regional Human Resource Officer, Regional Internal Auditor, and Regional Accountant, will oversee the validation exercise.
As part of the process, all affected employees are required to submit key documents, including their appointment letter, academic certificate, licensure certificate, and national service certificate.
The deadline for completing the validation is set for March 14, 2025.
GES has urged full cooperation from all parties to ensure the success of the exercise.
