Following the decision of the Ethics Committee to demote Techiman City FC and Wa African United, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) wishes to assure all stakeholders that the programme for the 2015/16 season remains unchanged.
The judicial bodies of the GFA are completely independent as stipulated by Article 80 of the GFA Disciplinary Code.
The GFA will continue to allow the judicial bodies and judicial processes to operate independently per their mandate.
As such the Super Cup match between Ashantigold and Medeama will go ahead as scheduled at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday to herald the new season.
