Ghana duo John Mensah and Richard Kingson have admitted they are recovering from injuries and expect to be fully for the World Cup finals.
Defender Mensah injured his left calf playing for Sunderland in an English Premier League tie against Manchester United.
He said on Saturday: “I’m better now and I no longer has pain but the coach has decided not to play me in the warm-up matches.”
First choice goalkeeper Kingson says he’s still having treatment for a shoulder injury but hopes to be fit for Ghana’s opening Group D match against Serbia on 13 June.
