Ghana have moved one place up in the Fifa ranking released Wednesday for the month of September.
The Black Stars now occupy the 31st position from the previous 32 chalked last month after improving their points build up from 710 to 714.
The Black Stars who are angling for a fifth African Nations Cup are now the continent’s third best side behind Ivory Coast and Algeria.
European champions, Spain remained tops with Germany second and England jumping third on the world ranking table.
