Ghana midfielder Michael Essien has a chance of being named among the best World XI players for 2010 when the Fifa World Player of the Year Award ceremony is held in Switzerland on Monday night.Essien is among the three African in the hunt for the FIFA/FIFPro World XI. Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba and reigning African Footballer of the year Samuel Eto’o are also being considered for the award.
